Production of Food Waste Compost and Its Effect on the Growth of Dwarf Crape Jasmine

The main objective of this study is to investigate the physical, chemical and biological effects compost made from food waste unshredded dry leaves evaluate performance on growth dwarf crape jasmine (dwarf Tabernaemontana divaricate). Food with a ratio 3:1 have been added passive aeration-static bioreactor. composting was carried out for 40 days. chemical, morphological changes that occurred during process were identified evaluated. plants grown in media containing nine different proportions plant measured after 150 results show maximum temperature 47.8 °C decrease moisture content achieved. pH value increased while electrical conductivity decreased process. TOC 56% 42%. nutrient composts all within recommended range. Among treatments, 5%-20% mixture shows greatest development. Results indicate high EC can be used promote growth, provided contains low dosage.
